Serve Tampa Bay

Even in this time of COVID-19, we can serve our city in creative ways! Check out these opportunities to make a difference. And make sure you use the hashtag #lovingtampabay so we can celebrate the impact you’re making!

Join us in the community for yard work, gardening, or clean up!

Join a team to clean indoors and outdoors, to prepare for reopening.

Did you know that every time you donate blood, you save 3 lives? Blood banks are low in Tampa right now, and we can help with this critical need.

Sort donations or serve food at one of our local meal partners.

Take a moment to send a card to someone living at a local elderly facility. Encouragement goes a long way these days!

Are you a foster family at GFC or do you have a heart to serve foster families?

Would you like to help get food where it’s needed most? Join our food delivery team, where you’ll be notified about upcoming food delivery events.

Did you know that you can find all of our social media graphics to use on your own accounts at Grab a graphic, post an invite to our online services, and tag a friend!

These are a few elderly homes where GFC partners by sending volunteers during our Serve Saturday events. Even though we can’t visit in person, we know that these notes will bring a smile to their faces! Thank you for taking the time to send a note of encouragement!

Supporting Foster Families

Grace Family Church loves our Foster, Kinship and Adoptive families! We want to support them in tangible, yet practical ways. We also seek to serve local struggling families to help them overcome a potential family disruption into foster care. With opportunities ranging from simply praying over needs, or responding to meet the incidental requests that come up in times of transition, to committing to walk closely alongside these families in their journey, we have ways for everyone to get involved!

If you are currently fostering, we would love to connect you to this support ministry.

To learn more about volunteering or if you are fostering, please email

Thirty minutes a week can make a huge difference in a child’s life! We have mentorship teams active at Lanier Elementary and Buchanan Middle School. Come to one of our upcoming Interest Meetings, where you’ll learn more about mentorship and how to get involved. Please register, so we can plan for you!

Questions? Email to learn more about how to get involved.
