Serve Tampa Bay

Part of our mission at GFC is to serve the city of Tampa Bay, and make a difference at the local level. With 6 campuses all over the city, we have a unique opportunity to help people right where they live. Below are some of the ways you can get involved:

Join us at one of our 15+ community projects we host on Serve Saturday! From singing with elderly residents to serving breakfast to the homeless, we have an opportunity for you and your family to serve together.

Each Wednesday, from 4:30-6:00 PM, we host dinner for our hungry and homeless neighbors in Tampa. Sign up and join us at Soup Kitchen!

Vintage, Etc. is an upscale thrift store in South Tampa whose mission is to provide affordable, quality merchandise to the community in a loving, Christian environment. Proceeds support the Dream Center and missions at Grace. We’d love to have you join the team!

The Dream Center serves the youth of East Tampa by providing after school care, mentoring, art and music classes, leadership programs and more. Visit our site to learn how you can join the Dream Team!

Hope Rising Prison Ministry equips volunteers to impact the lives of incarcerated men, women, and youth. We mentor inmates, lead Sunday worship services, facilitate empowerment classes, host events and more. Register for our next interest meeting!

Boys 2 Men is a ministry where children of single mothers are mentored by positive, Christian male role models. On the third Saturday of each month, relationships are built and biblical principles are shared through fun and free experiences. Sign up your child (ages 6-14) or learn how to become a mentor.

We offer respite care on Serve Saturdays for foster families. If you are a foster family or have a heart to serve our foster family community, let us know.

Thirty minutes a week can make a huge difference in a child’s life! We have mentorship teams active at Lanier Elementary and Buchanan Middle School. Come be a part of the team.

Hope Rising Prison Ministry is a local outreach serving currently incarcerated individuals and their families.
Our Mission is to Initiate Hope, Awaken Purpose, and Restore Families.

We have opportunities to serve inside and outside of the prison, such as leading Sunday worship services, Mentoring Inmates, Facilitating Classes, Leading a Small Group, Children of Inmate Events, and Letter Writing.
