The Community Changers’ purpose is to bless people in our community through showing the love of Jesus. This will give the people of Grace Family the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and serve others. We believe in not only saying you are a Christian but showing it to others through your attitude and actions. Come and be a part of what God has called each of us to do in Tampa!!

Monday and Tuesday night we get a chance to step out of our comfort zones to minister to people in need. Our goal is to serve the homeless people in the Tampa area a hot meal, to encourage them by praying for their individual needs and by teaching a short Bible Study. We meet at the Grace Family Church Gym at 5:00 PM and return at 7:30 PM for clean up. Come out and let God use you in ways you never thought He could!

The Dream Center of Tampa was founded in November 2010 with the vision of serving the youth and resident living in East Tampa, an economically depressed area of the Tampa Bay region. The Dream Center of Tampa worked with community organizations, government leaders, local schools, and businesses to complete a needs analysis, designed to identify service gaps resulting from recent economic conditions. We determined that government resources have diminished and families are feeling the pressure of a reduction in resources and options for youth. Residents report several concerns for the East Tampa area including, youth crime, teenage prostitution, access to guns among children, gang activity, and a reduction of productive alternatives for youth.

Join us as we seek God’s heart for the modern day orphan through his word. This group is for those who feel God is stirring them in some way to reach out to vulnerable children in our community. Maybe it’s through foster care, adoption, mentoring, or being a voice in some way, but we are seeking God together on this journey. For more information, contact Kelli Wild at faces@gfconline.com.
