What to Expect

On your first visit to Grace Family Church please stop by the VIP area in the front Courtyard on your way into the service. We want to meet you, hear your feedback and provide you with information about Grace Family. We have a great gift for you as well. Just look for the VIP banners stationed outside the Lobby doors.

Are you looking for a way to get plugged in at GFC? The Connect2 area is located in the Main Lobby and is hosted by small group coaches/leaders and highly trained volunteers at every service to help people Connect2 small groups and volunteering.

For the younger ones:

We desire to present God’s word to adults in a distraction free environment and to children in a fun way that is on their level. We ask that all children, infants to 5th graders, be taken to PromiseLand, The Clubhouse, or The Zone during the adult services.

Grace Family Church is committed to providing a place for people of all backgrounds to come and explore Christianity at their own pace. You’ll see the Grace Family difference in that we encourage you to come as you are. You’ll hear God’s truth communicated in plain language through contemporary music and practical messages; all based on the timeless truths of the Bible applied to everyday lives. You won’t be pressured for money and we promise you won’t be bored! Oh, by the way, your children and youth will have fun too!

What kind of church is this?

Grace Family Church is a non-denominational, Bible-based church in Tampa, Florida. Pastor Craig Altman and his wife Debbie founded the church in 1994. Pastor Craig was a youth pastor for 12 years before becoming the Senior Pastor at Grace. Our name, “Grace Family,” defines who we are. We believe that Christianity goes beyond Sunday mornings and our desire is to build authentic relationships in the community and with each other.

What should I wear?

Casual dress is appropriate; we encourage you to come as you are. Feel free to leave the coat and tie at home!

What will the service be like?

At Grace Family Church, our worship services are designed to help each person make a personal connection with Jesus Christ. Our use of multimedia and contemporary music help to create an atmosphere where people can connect with God and grow as believers. Our pastoral staff, led by Pastor Craig Altman, strives to deliver messages from the Bible that are full of relevance to the challenges of everyday life. From those who are just beginning to investigate Christianity to those who are in a mature relationship with Christ, we say that Grace Family Church will be a place where Christ can touch people in a personal way.
