Duties of Business Office Administrative Assistant (part-time)

Dynamic, God-centered, Grace Family Church is seeking a part/full time experienced, energetic and organized administrative assistant for the business office area.  The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of clerical/administrative background supporting multiple people.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to multi-task are important.

The Business Office Administrative Assistant to perform many basic functions for the business office/accounting area, including:

  • Responsible for accurate input and resolving day-to-day administrative issues utilizing the contributions database
  • Responsible for accurate input through credit card tracking database
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities
  • Sending out and receiving mail and packages
  • Prepares business correspondence (often using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation computer software)
  • Sending faxes
  • Performs quality file management 
  • Performs multifaceted general office support for the Business Administrative area

Other Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in data entry with multiple databases
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Discreet and trustworthy
  • Good communication skills; verbal & written
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and attention to detail
  • Ongoing display of Christ-like behavior, treating others with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity
  • Credit check required
